About the Role
We are seeking a Virtual Commercial Fleet Sales Representative to generate and qualify commercial sales opportunities for our OEM client among small-to-medium businesses with fleets of 100 or fewer vehicles. This role focuses on managing the top and middle of the sales funnel through proactive prospecting, high-volume outbound calling, email and digital outreach, and lead nurturing. You will collaborate closely with Regional Managers and the Dealer Network to transition qualified opportunities into closed commercial vehicle sales.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and target small-to-medium businesses (SMBs) with commercial fleets of 10 to 100 vehicles.
- Conduct high-volume outbound cold calling, email campaigns, and digital outreach to introduce the OEM commercial vehicle lineup and dealer benefits.
- Build, organize, and nurture a robust sales pipeline, qualifying leads based on fleet size, purchase timeline, and vehicle specifications (e.g., cargo, towing, payload needs).
- Act as the critical link between virtual prospecting and physical sales by partnering with Regional Managers to deliver highly qualified "hot leads" with deep context for a high close rate.
- Connect qualified business buyers with local Dealer Network partners to facilitate vehicle demonstrations, quotes, and delivery.
- Maintain meticulous records of all interactions, lead stages, and follow-up tasks in the CRM system to ensure seamless coordination with the field team.
Requirements
- 2+ years of inside sales, outbound lead generation, or B2B call center experience.
- Automotive, commercial vehicle, or fleet experience is a major plus.
- Exceptional phone presence and written communication skills; ability to build instant rapport with business owners and fleet managers.
- High proficiency with CRM tools, virtual calling platforms, and Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven with a "no" as just a step closer to "yes."
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Location & Travel
This is a virtual/remote position based in the United States. Minimal travel may be required for team meetings, training, dealer events, or other business activities.
