Fleet Mechanic - Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate, repair, rebuild, and maintain heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair operational issues on diesel, CNG, gas, and electric vehicles.
  • Complete work orders, procure parts, and plan repairs using M5 planner.
  • Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Utilize various tools, assist in training new employees, and stay updated on technology.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; technical diploma preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience as a diesel mechanic; diagnostic software experience a plus.
  • Computer literacy and ability to learn software systems.
  • Effective communication and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to operate relevant equipment.

Physical & Working Conditions

  • Physical ability to handle tools and lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Work in noisy, outdoor environments with exposure to chemicals, extreme weather, and moving parts.
  • Requires sustained concentration and visual acuity.
