Fleet Mechanic - Full-Time

About the role

Safely operate, repair, rebuild, and maintain heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment, including CNG and electric vehicles. Diagnose operational issues, perform repairs, complete reports, order parts, and schedule maintenance. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, utilize various tools, maintain a clean work environment, and assist in training new employees. Stay current with technology through manuals and training.

Responsibilities

• Operate, repair, rebuild, and maintain heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment, including CNG and electric vehicles
• Diagnose operational issues and perform necessary repairs
• Complete service reports and order parts
• Schedule maintenance and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Utilize various tools and maintain a clean work environment
• Assist in training new employees
• Keep up with current technology through manuals and training

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; technical diploma preferred
• Minimum one year of diesel mechanic experience
• Familiarity with diagnostic software is a plus
• Computer literacy and effective communication skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and operate necessary equipment
• Physical ability to handle tools and lift up to 100 pounds
