Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintains CTPAT geofencing and takes immediate action on out-of-route alerts.
- Dispatches load information and communicates customer expectations to operators.
- Answers load-related questions for contractors via LME, email, and phone.
- Tracks, traces, and reports positions and ETA updates to customers.
- Plans available loads and trucks to cover broken down or uncovered loads.
- Handles maintenance functions, including roadside breakdown assistance and creating work orders.
- Manages fleet productivity using key performance indicators.
- Communicates fleet needs with internal partners, such as Load Planner.
- Advocates for drivers and communicates with internal partners about load opportunities.
- Notifies CSR and planners if assistance is needed to resolve issues.
- Notifies the after-hours Safety team of accidents or emergencies.
- Communicates with internal partners about changes to loads.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to negotiate.
- Motivated to achieve both company and personal goals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.
- Able to build rapport quickly.
Pay
Total Cash Compensation: Base salary starts at $42,500 annually, with performance incentives of up to $15,000 annually.
Schedule
Remote work is not a reasonable accommodation due to the essential functions of the role requiring in-person oversight, coaching, and real-time collaboration with management and operations staff.
