About the role

The Service Coordinator and Mobile Service Coordinator roles at Ryder are aimed at individuals who are passionate about logistics, transportation, fleet maintenance, and supply chain services. As a key member of the Ryder team, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and managing appointments efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide concierge level customer service over the phone, in person, or via electronic communication.
  • Schedule and manage appointments, ensuring all customers are prospective long-term customers.
  • Handle both inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent customer service and keeping customers informed of all scheduled work.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, and communicate with managers, supervisors, and parts teams to ensure proper scheduling.
  • Coordinate and manage customer quoting processes, ensuring accurate information is submitted for approval before work commences.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma/GED
  • 1 year or more in customer service or administrative related experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of initiative
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Multi-tasking, excellent time management, and detailed oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Pay
