Fleet Maintenance Assistant $20/hour

About the role

Budget is looking for an experienced, hands-on individual to help maintain and manage our rental fleet. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a shop environment while taking on responsibilities similar to an assistant manager.

Responsibilities

• “In-fleeting” new vehicles
• “Out-fleeting” vehicles as they are sold
• Performing oil changes, tire repairs, and replacements
• Ordering supplies and parts
• Completing other light mechanical duties as assigned

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, responsible, handy, and a team player who can help keep the fleet organized and running smoothly.

Requirements

• Good driving record
• Able to lift 70 lbs
• 21 years of age or older
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Ability to work outside in the elements as required
• Experience doing tire repairs on a tire machine and oil changes

Schedule

Monday–Friday, standard 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, approximately 40 hours per week.
