About the role
The Fleet Maintenance Account Manager is responsible for developing profitable new customer business and visiting accounts within an assigned sales territory. This position requires an entrepreneurial attitude and works with minimal supervision.Responsibilities
- Generate sales volume and revenue through prospecting new B2B customers' accounts
- Retain existing customers
- Penetrate existing customers to increase their volume/revenue of business with Gabrielli
- Build relationships with existing customers by acting as a transportation consultant
- Drive while on company time
- Understand the competitive influences and risks within each account
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience
- A clean and valid driver's license
- Previous Lease Sales Experience a Plus
Additional requirements include:
- An associate or bachelor's degree with course work in business and/or marketing or equivalent job-related experience preferred
- A basic understanding of business finance
- Comfortable with cold calling and prospecting plans
- Good customer service and closing technique skills
- Strong prospecting and closing skills
- Detail-oriented and ability to work independently
- Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong computer skills
- Truck leasing and rental sales experience preferred
