Job Summary Perform effective, safe and efficient driving duties. Deliver packages to customers on scheduled route while meeting service and performance objectives. Transact all business in accordance to Patterson Companies’ business code of conduct and business ethicsDrive assigned vehicle and deliver/pick up shipmentsPoint of contact for customer service and help resolve customer complaintsCollect money from customersLoad and unload assigned vehicle. Ensure all loads are properly secure for transportOperate all warehouse equipment/machineryAchieve assigned performance metrics and KPIsHelp maintain a secure, organized, clean, and safe warehouse and vehicleHandle all hazardous materials, pesticides, and prescription drugs according to the Company’s processes/procedures and applicable laws and regulationsAssure routine maintenance is performed on assigned vehicle per schedule and vehicle is always in a good and safe conditionAdherence with DOT drug & alcohol testingFollow all local, state and federal motor carrier lawsSubmit all required daily, weekly and monthly compliance reportsFollow company biosecurity policies and customer biosecurity protocols as requiredAssist fulfillment center in daily operations when not performing delivery duties A dditional functions In addition to the essential functions listed above, the incumbent may perform the following additional functions.
