Responsibilities

• Communicate and support JM core values and deliver the JM experience.
• Drives and operates a combination of trucks and vehicles that have a gross vehicle weight of more than 26,001 pounds and that requires a Class A license and HAZMAT certification.
• Deliver full truckloads of Johns Manville products to jobsites and warehouses.
• Safely drive a commercial vehicle and comply with safety & DOT Regulations.
• Load dispatch out of Hillsboro, TX daily by planning routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
• Operate a forklift and work in a warehouse.
• Assist with other tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Proven track record of at least 5 years of safe and verifiable driving experience.
• Current Medical Certification.
• Valid Class A CDL with HazMat Endorsement.
• Ability to meet Johns Manville's driving qualifications.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Ability to pass a drug screen test.
• No DUI/DWI convictions.

Physical Requirements

• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• The ability to manually lift, push or pull at least 50 pounds safely and with proper body mechanics, sometimes while in awkward positions.
• Use of hands (repetitive motion, grabbing, feeling, sensing, pulling).
• The ability to work safely in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful work environment.
• The ability to safely and effectively work in an often-dusty work environment that experiences a broad range of temperatures (very hot to very cold).
• The ability to withstand the rigors of working a 12(or 8)-hour rotating shift schedule.
• The ability to bend, stoop or kneel repetitively.
• The ability to reach or work above the shoulder.

Pay

The base hourly rate for this position is $32.75.

Schedule

This position is a full-time position - solo operator. Operates Monday through Friday with some weekend exceptions; some overnight travel.
