FLEET DRIVER

About the role

The position of Fleet Vehicle Driver is done for the purpose/s of transporting students over scheduled routes and/or special excursions; enforcing rules, regulations, and laws to maintain safety during transport; ensuring vehicle is in a safe operating condition; and ensuring safety of students during transport, loading, and unloading from vehicles.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 21 years of age
• At least five years' experience as a driver of a passenger car
• Must have an "excellent" driving record which must be infraction/accident free for the last three years (annual driving abstract will be required)

Qualifications

• Recommended applicants will be offered substitute fleet driving positions after completing fleet driver training programs and courses established by the State Superintendent of Public Instruction or the school district

Hours: 7.5 Hours, Monday - Friday

Conditions of Employment

• Must pass a physical exam is required upon hire and ongoing throughout employment
• Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen and participate in random drug/alcohol testing
