Responsibilities
- Dispatch calls for emergency roadside assistance
- Manage calls related to emergency and / or commercial road service
- Provide detailed instructions to Fleet Service or contracted personnel
- Maintain inventory of tow truck / service vehicle supplies
- Ensure proper maintenance of tow trucks, service vehicles and equipment
- Close service requests using company electronic dispatching system
- Handle driver / customer escalations
- Resolve rudimentary payment issues
- Assist coworkers and less-tenured dispatchers
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Call center environment experience
- Past experience dispatching calls
- Positive attitude and willingness to succeed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a team-player
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Willingness and ability to work irregular hours, weekends and/or holidays
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of policies and procedures (service benefits) relative to emergency road service
