About the role
The Fleet Dispatch Manager is responsible for customer and driver satisfaction within the assigned location while meeting company goals for Safety & Compliance, Customer Service, and annual objectives. The role requires excellent customer relations and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Schedule drivers and dispatch vehicles
- Administer payroll and purchase orders
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and DOT laws and regulations
- Monitor driver performance and ensure adherence to company policies
- Audit fuel purchases daily
- Record and report collisions, injuries, and damages
- Conduct safety training and maintain safety checklists
- Ensure all hours of service regulations and DOT policies are adhered to
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections
- Report and charge preventable damages
- Assist with safety audits and training
Requirements
- Understanding of food product distribution laws and DOT requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Problem-solving and project management skills
- Geographical knowledge and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- 3+ years of logistics and fleet management experience
- Experience with TMS systems

Schedule
Work schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 8am to 4:30pm
