About the role

The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the Transdev managed fleet of vehicles (Roadside Assistance and AUX/Training) is available at the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) to meet the operations needs. This role involves coordinating maintenance, managing supplies, troubleshooting minor issues, and working with various teams within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate maintenance of the Roadside assistance fleet with the operations team and maintenance vendors.
  • Measure performance, identify opportunities for improvements, and address any program issues.
  • Monitor, triage, verify, and prioritize unplanned maintenance requests.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting/repair of minor issues such as flat tires, wiper blades, fuses, etc.
  • Coordinate work with Operations Site Leads, Site Coordinators, and Fleet Deployment Specialists as needed.
  • Organize the bring-up of new vehicles joining the fleet.
  • Maintain accuracy of data in the Fleet tracking tools.
  • Cook up with the operations and safety and compliance teams to complete post-collision reporting.
  • Coordinate the fleet cleaning program with the approved vendor.
  • Manage Roadside assistance supplies, reorder as needed using established procedures.
  • Coordinate the fleet maintenance with the Auxiliary and Training fleet vendor.
  • Troubleshoot fleet management procedures as needed, in coordination with the fleet manager.
  • Create, generate, and present reports on TAS Fleet.
  • All other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Associates degree (and/or equivalent job experience) or 3 years prior experience in fleet management, project coordination, or similar activities at a growing company.
  • Previous FDS, SC, and/or Calibration Associate experience preferred.
  • Experience in vendor relationship management.

Qualifications

  • Proficient with Google Suite and able to learn systems quickly.
  • Strong time management skills with superior attention to detail; including the ability to prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinker, able to identify issues and find reasonable solutions.
  • Proven people skills, oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills, in order to effectively build relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Experience dealing with a variety of employees in all levels of the company in a professional manner.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or similar Google tools.
  • Travel up to 10% based on business need.

  • Ability to complete basic hands-on vehicle maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to think strategically and identify issues and find reasonable solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and in close conjunction with others.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting.
  • Use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Talk or hear.
  • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 45 pounds.
  • Work in extreme heat and cold, and in damp environment with moderate noise.
  • Work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed including overtime.
  • Most work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.
  • Subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Must be 21 years old.
  • Eligible to work in the US without restrictions for any employer at any time.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
