About The Role
The Fleet Coordinator will support and work under the direction of the Senior Transportation Compliance Manager, providing Department of Transportation (DOT) Compliance support to Reworld companies. This position is located at the Asheboro, NC facility and follows a hybrid office schedule (2 days remote, 3 days in-office).
Responsibilities
- Manage federal, state, and local transporter permitting and tax filings (Quarterly: IFTA, NY and CT HUT; Annually: 2290 Heavy Vehicle Use Tax).
- Maintain digital records for regulatory items (spill plans, permitting, and tax filings).
- Maintain truck and trailer registration and titling.
- Provide Samsara administrative assistance and training as needed.
- Complete updates on the fleet asset list to ensure accuracy in equipment reporting for procurement, insurance, and inventory management.
- Communicate regularly with Transportation and Facility managers on transportation permits, asset registration and management, and updates to DOT or internal compliance policies and procedures.
- Review compliance regulations and provide applicable updates to Transportation Managers; complete updates to internal SOPs and spill plans as needed.
- Provide support for maintaining driver qualification files when needed.
Qualifications
- Two years of experience in Transportation Compliance is required.
- Four-year degree in logistics, manufacturing, or compliance-related fields preferred.
- Ability to clearly communicate remotely with personnel located across the country and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload and problem-solve without direct supervision.
- Proficiency using Microsoft products (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), laptop computers, and printers/scanners.
- Ability to quickly learn web-based programs is required.
- Experience with electronic log devices (Samsara), DISA driver qualification, PeopleSoft, and NetSuite preferred (training will be provided).
- Experience or knowledge of Canadian Hours of Service and customs border crossing requirements is a plus.

Pay
The pay range for this position in the primary location is $18.85 - $25.05 USD per hour. The final salary offered will be determined based on factors including experience, education, geographic location, skills, competencies, travel requirements, and/or union contracts (if applicable).
Schedule
Hybrid office schedule: 2 days remote, 3 days in-office.
