Responsibilities

  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create and implement treatment plans/reviews, and complete clinical documentation according to company policy.
  • Maintain a minimum caseload.
  • Provide clinical interventions focusing on the reduction of symptoms and increasing the individual’s ability to perform activities of daily living.
  • Deliver excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients accomplish therapeutic goals.
  • Collaborate with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and applicable site staff as needed.
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.
  • Communicate and work with clients/other staff in a manner that demonstrates knowledge of cultural diversities.
  • PRACTICE ETHICAL CONDUCT IN ALL CLINICAL AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES.
  • COMPLY WITH ELLIE MENTAL HEALTH POLICIES AND PROCEDURES, ACCREDITING/REGULATORY BODIES, AND PERFORMANCE CONTRACT DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS.

Requirements

  • Active LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, PsyD FL and CA licenses.
  • Current NPI number.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish, preferred but not required.
  • Must maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License and be insurable under Ellie Mental Health policy.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply crisis intervention techniques.
  • Strong diagnostic skills, the ability to incorporate client history, symptoms, environmental and related issues to formulate proper diagnosis and treatment.
  • Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to provide clear, concise, and well-constructed written documentation.
  • Able to manage time and organize tasks effectively.
  • Able to work independently.

Qualifications

  • Prefer candidates with a creative and innovative approach to mental health.
  • Ideal candidates will have a general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing.
