About the Role

Ellie Mental Health, South Florida in Pembroke Pines is looking for a passionate therapist licensed in FL to join our team! Ellie Mental Health is a highly successful mental health organization with clinics structured to remove many of the daily obstacles that get in the way of providing world-class mental health services. We prioritize the clinician’s experience by offering excellent compensation, training, and flexible scheduling, along with centralized administrative, technology, referral, and billing support. Our goal is to minimize administrative tasks so our practitioners can focus on what they love – serving clients.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create and implement treatment plans/reviews, and complete clinical documentation according to company policy.
  • Maintain a minimum caseload.
  • Provide clinical interventions focusing on reducing symptoms and improving daily functioning.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and collaborate with a dynamic team to further our mission.
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve therapeutic goals.
  • Collaborate with case managers, families, medical personnel, and other Ellie staff as needed.
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.
  • Communicate and work with clients/staff in a culturally sensitive manner.
  • Practice ethical conduct in all clinical and professional activities.
  • Comply with Ellie Mental Health policies, accrediting/regulatory bodies, and documentation requirements.

Qualifications

  • Active LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or PsyD license in FL and CA.
  • Current NPI number.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License and insurable under Ellie Mental Health policy.
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to formulate proper diagnosis and treatment.
  • Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide clear and concise written documentation.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.

Preferred Skills

  • Creative and innovative approach to mental health.
  • General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, and insurance billing.
