Fixed & Mobile Threat System Electronic Technician(G)
TDXi, a subsidiary of Tanadgusix Corporation (TDX), an Alaska Native Corporation, is seeking Fixed & Mobile Threat System Electronic Technicians for a full-time position located at Eielson AFB, AK. This role reports to the Program Manager and offers an opportunity to grow with an established defense contractor.
About the Role
TDXi’s TDX Government Services (TDX-GS) provides technical expertise and training support to enhance Air Combat Training System (ACTS) services globally, as well as Range Management responsibilities at multiple locations. This position involves maintaining threat systems, including Lazarus, replica FSU, UMTE, Smokey SAM, and ARTS.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on threat systems
- Ensure quality compliance, safety, and continuous improvement while meeting contractual obligations
- Maintain and review technical manuals, tools, and test equipment
- Manage spare equipment lists and coordinate with logistics
- Travel to remote locations with occasional overnights
- Ensure compliance with TDXi’s Quality Control and Safety Programs
- Other duties as assigned by the Program Manager
Requirements
- Degree in a technical discipline, equivalent military training, or a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience at journeyman level
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
- Valid state driver’s license
- Ability to read, analyze, and apply electrical and mechanical schematics
- Physical capability to lift, maneuver, and carry weighted objects in various environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with RF measurements (small signal/high-power gain, Noise Figure, S-Parameters, digital measurements)
- IAT II (A+ software/hardware and Security+) Certification
- Recognized Electronics and Electrical Qualification
- Proven track record in threat systems maintenance
- Practical understanding of service delivery
Skills
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Basic and advanced technical knowledge of electrical and electronic principles
- Proficiency in interpreting circuit diagrams and manufacturers’ manuals
- Experience using test instruments (oscilloscopes, signal generators, voltage/frequency meters, computer control equipment)
