This position is located at Eielson AFB, AK, and is full-time, reporting to the Site Manager. TDXi's Technical Services Division (TSD) is an innovative defense contractor providing technical expertise and training support to enhance Air Combat Training System (ACTS) services globally, as well as performing Range Management responsibilities at multiple locations.

About the Role

This position provides technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, such as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment, and taking test readings using common instruments like digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1st/2nd line Preventative maintenance on the Radar Systems
  • Deliver 1st/3rd line Corrective maintenance on the Radar Systems
  • Ensure quality compliance, safety, continuous improvement, and confirm contractual obligations related to radar systems
  • Maintain and review radar technical manuals
  • Maintain and manage all tools and test equipment required to support the system
  • Manage spare equipment list and coordinate with logistics manager
  • Travel to remote locations with overnights as required
  • Provide site support to Lockheed Martin when required
  • Backfill other radar technicians at sites on Eielson AFB as needed
  • Ensure compliance with TDXi’s Quality Control and Safety Programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Manager

Requirements

  • BS Degree in a technical discipline, AS Degree in a technical discipline, equivalent military training, or minimum ten (10) years’ experience at journeyman level
  • Associate degree in Electronics and experience at the Craftsman level highly desirable
  • IAT II (A+ software/hardware and Security+) Certification required
  • US Citizen with Top Secret Clearance or ability to obtain
  • Familiarity with RF Measurements, including small signal and high-power gain, Noise Figure, S-Parameters, and digital measurements (oscilloscope, DVM)
  • Recognized Electronics and electrical Qualification
  • Proven track record of successful radar systems maintenance
  • Practical and pragmatic understanding of service delivery
  • Valid state driver’s license
  • Ability to read, analyze, and apply knowledge of both electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Physical capability to lift, maneuver, and carry weighted objects in various environments (shop, warehouse, bay, tower, flight-line)

Skills

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Basic and advanced technical knowledge of electrical and electronic principles and devices
  • Ability to interpret circuit diagrams and solve routine problems using manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents
  • Proficiency with test instruments such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, voltage and frequency meters, and computer control equipment and analyzers
  • Familiarity with microwave RF measurement and troubleshooting techniques, including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Noise Figure Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and digital signal probing
  • Ability to develop software and analyze/trend results in the test environment
