FIU Cases Analyst I

About the Role

This role involves analyzing and investigating customer and transactional activity and data to identify patterns and confirm suspicious activity. You will file suspicious activity reports (SARs) and currency transaction reports (CTRs) with regulatory agencies in accordance with bank procedures. The position requires evaluating multiple banking product types, financial crime types, and systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and investigate customer and transactional data to identify and confirm suspicious activity.
• File SARs and CTRs with regulatory agencies for activity escalated by internal teams, external partners, and third parties, including law enforcement.
• Maintain service levels in accordance with policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Answer inbound and outbound calls to provide servicing for monitoring strategies and customer inquiries.
• Maintain standards for production, quality, and leadership results for assigned workstreams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Typically requires less than one year of related experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage daily workload effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-sufficient, well-organized, and capable of working with support.

Pay

Salary range: $17.25 hourly – $28 hourly. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by factors including experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based incentive opportunity.
