FIU Cases Analyst II

About the Role
This position involves analyzing and investigating customer and transactional activity and data to identify patterns and confirm suspicious activity. The analyst is responsible for filing suspicious activity reports (SARs) and currency transaction reports (CTRs) with regulatory agencies in accordance with bank procedures. The role requires evaluating multiple banking product types, financial crime types, and systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes and investigates customer and transactional data and activity to identify and confirm suspicious activity.
- Files SARs and CTRs with regulatory agencies for activity escalated by internal teams, external partners, and third parties, including law enforcement.
- Maintains service levels with workload in accordance with policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Answers inbound and outbound calls to provide servicing for monitoring strategies and customer inquiries.
- Maintains standards of production, quality, and leadership results for assigned workstreams.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of related experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-sufficient and well-organized.
Pay
Salary range: $17.25 – $28.00 hourly. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by factors including experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based incentive opportunity.
