Responsibilities
- Reading and following engineered drawings to cut, weld, and assemble materials for custom conveyor systems, stairs, platforms, and baggage handling systems.
- Fabricating, welding, and installing products according to engineered drawings.
- Operating and setting up hand and power tools such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.
- Assisting with the layout, positioning, alignment, and securing of parts and assemblies.
- Communicating clearly with team members to fulfill customer orders on time.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of fabrication and welding experience (MIG, TIG, and Arc).
- Welding certifications are a plus.
- Ability to read cut lists and engineering drawings.
- Strong mechanical abilities and proficiency in using tools like saws, drills, grinders, cut-off wheels, clamps, levels, and tape measures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude, critical thinking, and good judgment.
- Physical and mental strength to handle stressors and perform duties in extreme environments.
