Fitter/Welder - 1st Shift

About the role

The role involves performing various welding and assembly tasks under the supervision of experienced personnel. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using various types of equipment and materials.
• Assemble components according to blueprints and specifications.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety guidelines and quality control standards.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• At least 1 year of related experience in welding or fabrication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of welding techniques and safety procedures.
• Basic understanding of blueprint reading and mechanical principles.
• Good physical condition and manual dexterity.

Skills

• Proficient in operating welding machines and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

First shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
