FIT Supervisor

About the role
Manage daily tasks related to Service Requests, projects, and other business-critical activities. Escalate urgent issues, business requests, and production issues appropriately. Handle staffing, including hiring, vacation, and sick time of employees. Direct the Field IT team to utilize skill sets most efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a high volume of Help-desk Tickets.
- Review and manage the help-desk system regarding Field IT Tickets, Work Requests, training, multiple ongoing projects, and managerial support, including weekly and monthly reporting responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with Corporate IT policies and procedures.
- Approve employee vacation and sick-time requests and accommodate staffing accordingly.
- Prepare and present annual performance evaluations for all direct reports.
- Develop and track Technical Support Specialists targets to ensure corporate goals are met.
- Familiarity with a variety of IT concepts, practices, metrics, software tracking, and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to Information Technology.
- 3+ years of professional experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong foundation in large-scale Information Technology departments.
- General knowledge of the manufacturing process.
- Effective oral and written communication skills for dealing with customers, associates, and internal and external management at all levels.
Pay
Annual salary range: $90,000 - $100,000. Actual base pay within this range will be determined based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills.
