Fiscal Associate II - Finance

Position Summary

The Fiscal Associate II in the Finance department supports the Health Department by performing various financial accounting procedures including payroll, accounts payable, and cash management. This role also involves preparing financial reports and maintaining billing records for various types of accounts.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with emphasis in accounting, finance, or business and one to two (1-2) years of experience in accounting and financial processes.
• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business and one to two (1-2) years of experience in accounting and financial processes – preferred.
• Years of experience may be substituted for education.
• Computer literate. Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Quickbooks is highly desired.

Requirements

• Employee is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all certification requirements relative to the position.
• Certification and license updates for Medicaid, Medicare, and other insurance billing as required.
• CPR certification preferred.
