First-Aid Eye Wash Tech

About the role

UniFirst First Aid + Safety is seeking a reliable and hardworking Eye Wash Technician to join their team. This position involves visiting customer locations to maintain and install eye wash stations, providing a variety of shifts, and offering comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer locations to drain, clean, refill, inspect, and document Eye Wash stations.
• Drive company-provided vehicle to and from customer locations daily.
• Contact customers by phone to schedule service and sell additional related products and services.
• Manage scheduling and communication with customers and team members.
• Clean and maintain all equipment including the van, tools, and vac system.
• Complete various required reports using an iPad or other electronic device.
• Meet with the Sales Manager to discuss goals, objectives, and outcomes.
• Work with internal resources to increase the service base and provide high-quality service to maintain client retention.
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP, and medical guidelines.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Previous experience in sales and upselling additional related products and services is highly preferred.
• Previous experience as a route or service representative is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to lift between 60-100 lbs at certain times.

Qualifications

• High school and/or GED equivalent is required.

Pay & Schedule

• Standard is a 5-day work week with up to 40 hours per week.
