Fire Suppression Service Technician

About the role
- Perform scheduled servicing, repair, and recharging of hand portable fire extinguishers, wheeled units, and kitchen suppression cylinders.
- Perform hydrostatic testing and repair of fire hoses.
- Assist on-road technicians with a variety of required work.
- Perform deliveries and pickups at customer locations and suppliers as needed.
- Pick orders to prepare for shipping.
- Receive and put stock away in designated areas.
- Maintain general cleanliness throughout the shop and work area.
- Repair service equipment as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
Qualifications
- Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to adhere to and always follow safety guidelines and procedures.
- Self-starter who can work with little to no supervision.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.

Pay
Hiring hourly range: $16.44 - $22.59. The hourly rate will be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
