Fire Sprinkler Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of Fire Protection contracts
• Schedule sales calls, follow up on leads and utilize outlined marketing strategies
• Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company offerings
• Closely close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives
• Develop a positive ongoing relationship with existing and new customers, general contractors and end users
• Estimate small projects including fixed price service as required in addition to large projects ranging from $100k-$1MM+
• Manage projects as needed (i.e. change orders, field issues) and attend job walks and construction meetings as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years Fire Sprinkler Estimating/Sales or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Familiar with reading blueprints, understanding current NFPA 13, 14, and 20 standards and local codes
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
