Responsibilities

• Material handling for fire protection systems
• Machine operation and threading piping
• Banding and bundling pipe
• Operating a crane and cart system to move pipe throughout the shop
• Shop sweeping and equipment cleanup

Schedule

Full-time, first shift: Monday–Thursday, 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. (four 10-hour days), with overtime on Fridays as needed.

Pay

Compensation is set to the current Local 669 Collective Bargaining Agreement at $18.66/hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Must pass an aptitude test
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, and crouch throughout an 8-hour shift
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced, occasionally loud environment
• Strict adherence to safety regulations, including the use of hearing, hand, knee, and foot safety equipment
