Fire Protection Coordinator/Designer

About the role

The Fire Protection Coordinator/Designer will produce construction documents for a variety of building types including retail, medical, educational, and governmental.

Responsibilities

• Develop high quality mechanical drawings and specifications
• Provide continuous client service and client contact, including on-site meetings and data collection
• Occasional travel may be required

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in a related field or minimum of 2 years of Fire Protection system design experience
• Engineering Intern certification and/or NICET certifications are considered plus
• Experience using AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit platforms

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in fire protection engineering and sprinkler system design
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
