About the role
This role involves performing routine inspections of fire suppression and control systems, responding to fire alarms and emergencies, and providing basic emergency medical care. The position supports safety protocols, manages fire and safety inspections, and assists with environmental response and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Responding to emergencies and performing safety duties
- Conducting fire inspections and evaluating fire risks
- Managing security equipment and completing testing requirements
- Supporting spill response and emergency protocols
- Filling in for Safety and Emergency Response Specialists when needed
Requirements
- Current paramedic or EMT-A certification in Tennessee
- Experience with fire detection/control systems and emergency medicine preferred
- Valid driver’s license, CPR/AED certification, and professional liability insurance
- Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with office equipment and computer applications
Schedule
Responsibilities are primarily during night shifts, located at a healthcare facility.
