Fire Inspector - Full-Time, Night Shift

About the role

Responsible for inspecting fire suppression systems, responding to fire alarms and emergencies, and providing basic emergency medical care. Works closely with leadership to promote safety, performs fire and safety inspections, manages security inventories, and supports environmental response efforts. Capable of operating security gates, cutting keys, removing lock-out/tag-out locks, and performing annual testing. May fill in for Safety and Emergency Response Specialists as needed.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Current paramedic or EMT-A certification in Tennessee
• Experience with fire detection/control systems and emergency medicine preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• CPR/AED certification
• Professional liability coverage
• Proficient in computer skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and under stress
• Knowledge of safety regulations and scope of practice
