Inspector - Evening Shift (Part Time)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to verify work is performed in accordance with contract documents, project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.
• Monitor construction progress, document field conditions, and prepare detailed inspection reports.
• Cookordination with contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Review materials, installations, and testing activities to confirm adherence to safety regulations, approved submittals, and project schedules.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of six (6) years of experience in the inspection and monitoring of construction projects.
• Capable of providing clear, concise written and oral communication.
• Knowledge of NYC DOB/OSHA codes, standards, and regulations.
• Experience with NYC public agencies is strongly preferred.

Education

• Associate's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
• Additional experience will be considered in absence of a degree.

Compensation

$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
