Fire Inspection Technician

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven Fire Inspection Technician to join our team. In this customer-facing role, you will assist with the testing and inspection of fire-alarm systems, ensuring safety, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction on all assigned projects.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect commercial fire-alarm systems within assigned buildings.
• Identify and report problems or discrepancies found in the systems you inspect.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with all inspections and testing.
• Monitor the fire-alarm panel and interact with building owners or engineers before, during, and after testing.
• Review reports and initiate next steps as necessary.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant field service or customer service experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Preferred (but not required) experience in electronics, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation.

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position is $19 to $27 per hour, depending on experience, location, and individual qualifications.
