Fire Alarm Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Troubleshoot system malfunctions and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades
• Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed
• Cookordinate effectively with customers, project managers, and team members
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required; relevant technical training preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience servicing fire alarm systems
• Valid state fire alarm technician license or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, components, and NFPA standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to work at heights, lift equipment, and perform manual tasks safely
