Typical Responsibilities

  • To become fully competent, through in-house training, in the use of the Company’s computer systems to meet customer requirements and communicate accurate and valid information when conversing with both internal and external customers.
  • To represent the Company consistently and positively to customers in line with the Customer Care Requirements.
  • To always maintain effective communication with both internal and external customers.
  • To ensure all documentation is accurately completed, stored, and provided to appropriate personnel when required.
  • Implement Company design procedures with the relevant stakeholders, ensure there is a full understanding of the scope documents, and the system design is fully compliant with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Manage the post order design process from sales handover to completion, ensuring all documentation/drawings/calculations are produced/recorded and reported in line with company standards.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the role.

    • Candidates shall be able to demonstrate the necessary qualifications, experience, skills, and traits to meet the requirements set below.
    • Qualifications:
      • FIA Design certification - Essential
      • Technical/Engineering qualification - Desirable
      • Revit and AutoCAD - Desirable
    • Experience:
      • Major project design experience - Essential
      • Multi discipline design experience - Essential
      • Experience of working with Revit - Desirable
      • Experience of working within a building services environment - Essential
      • Experience of working with CDE’s - Essential
    • Skills / Abilities:
      • An excellent eye for detail - Essential
      • Self-motivated with an organised approach to managing workload - Essential
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills - Essential
      • Competent using Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook - Essential
      • Able to confidently deal with difficult and stressful situations - Essential
      • The ability to maintain accurate records - Essential
      • Able to communicate effectively with staff at varying levels throughout the company - Essential
      • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team - Essential
      • Able to understand and interpret drawings from varying sources - Essential
      • Good working knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineer terminology - Essential
      • Able to manage sensitive and confidential information - Essential
