As a full-time Finishing/Wet Spray Operations Technician at GMM, you will work with state-of-the-art technology and cutting-edge equipment in a high-performance culture. Responsibilities
- Mix, prepare, and apply paint, ink, or other coating agents to products or materials to enhance and/or provide corrosion resistance per manufacturing requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or specifications to determine prepping/deprepping steps.
- Mix paints and inks with proper thinner solution to obtain correct consistency for application.
- Apply paint in accordance with product requirements.
- Mask parts and clean parts as needed.
- Select holding fixtures, attachments, accessories, and materials for proper application of paints.
- Verify finished parts meet specifications and blueprints using measuring devices.
- Make adjustments on the fly and use various tools efficiently to maintain precision manufacturing standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Self-motivated and willing to learn and grow.
