Finishing/Wet Spray Operations Technician

About the role

The basic function of the Finishing Operations is to mix, prepare, and apply paint, ink or other coating agents to products or materials to enhance and/or provide corrosion resistance per manufacturing requirements. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, or specifications to determine prepping/deprepping, mixing paints and inks with proper thinner solution to obtain correct consistency for application, applying paint in accordance with product requirements, masking and cleaning parts, selecting holding fixtures and materials, and verifying finished parts meet specifications and blueprints using measuring devices.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and ability to accomplish quality work in a fast-paced environment
• Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Work Experience
