Finished Goods Assembler
Job Description
Assemble, package, bag various assemblies.
- Read, understand, and follow work instructions and SOP’s
- Interpret BOM’s and routings
- Apply necessary components to various assemblies
- Pack parts using a bagging machine
- Pack parts into boxes
- Perform and log quality checks
- Report and log daily production and scrap material
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Report any unsafe acts and unsafe conditions to lead or supervisor
- Maintain work area and tools clean and placed in proper locations
- Moves finished goods to proper locations
- Performs daily cleaning tasks
- Label finished goods with appropriate labels
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One to three months experience in assembly production is preferred
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Ability to perform operations using units of weight and length measurement
- Able to accurately read and write in English and comprehend instructions, and bills of material, and able to complete written forms
- Proficient with basic computer data entry
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a fairly repetitive basis
- Requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Must be team-oriented and be open to corrective feedback
Shift
6:00 am - 2:30 pm M-F, willing to work overtime when needed.
Pay Rate
$16/hr
