Fine Gardener

CMS Landscape is looking for a thoughtful, detail-oriented fine gardener to join our team caring for high-end residential properties across Cape Cod.

About the role

This is a role for someone who genuinely loves plants. Someone who finds satisfaction in a well-edited perennial border, knows how to prune with intention rather than habit, and cares about the long-term health of a garden, not just how it looks on the day they leave.

Responsibilities

• Planting, weeding, edging, pruning, deadheading, mulching, staking, watering, and seasonal cleanup
• Seasonal container installations and annual color displays
• Monitoring plant health, flagging potential pest, disease, irrigation, or soil concerns before they become problems
• Working closely with production and maintenance teams
• Representing CMS on client properties with professionalism and pride in your work

Requirements

• Prior experience in fine gardening, horticulture, landscaping, or nursery work is preferred, though passion for plants and eye for detail matter more than your resume
• Interest in ecological gardening, soil health, and sustainable practices is a plus
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license is preferred
• Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
• Able to lift, bend, kneel, and navigate uneven terrain throughout the day
