About the role

BlueCare is seeking an experienced Gardener to join their grounds and maintenance team at Carlyle Gardens Retirement Village in Mackay. This rewarding role involves mowing lawns, performing general and minor maintenance, and whippersnipping, edging, and hedging.

Responsibilities

• Mowing the lawn on a ride-on mower
• Lawn maintenance
• Whippersnipping, edging, and hedging
• General and minor maintenance across the site

Requirements

Experience in general building, plant and equipment maintenance, gardening/landscape/grounds maintenance, including knowledge of herbicides, pesticides, and safe work practices. Relevant trade qualifications or certificate in facilities, building, or construction. Current Australian driver's license required.

$30.05 to $30.41 per hour + 12% super + not for profit salary packaging
