About the role
The Guest Service Support Expert at The Ritz-Carlton is responsible for supporting food and beverage operations. This includes tasks such as setting tables, assisting the kitchen, and cleaning work areas.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe workplace
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Uphold quality standards
- Ensure professional uniform, personal appearance, and communications
- On their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time)
- Moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
- Managing the menu (read and visually verify information)
- Taking a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance)
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- No related work experience required, but previous experience in a food and beverage environment is preferred
- No supervisory experience required
- No license or certification required
