Overview

Responsible for the operational support of policies and programs that engage our employees in their overall well-being with emphasis on financial well-being and in partnership with emotional, physical and community well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Leads performing daily administration functions such as file feed transfers from external vendors to company’s HR system, data audits and statistical reporting on the retirement plans, tuition assistance and other financial well-being programs for the purpose of maintaining continuity and integrity of employee-initiated transactions and measuring employee participation.
  • Responds to employee inquiries and resolves employee issues related to the retirement and financial well-being programs for the purpose of improving the employees’ perceived value of such programs and employee experience in partnership with Payroll and/or external vendor partners.
  • Remains current with changes in regulatory requirements related to retirement, M&A and financial well-being programs to help ensure the company’s retirement, tuition assistance & other financial well-being benefit operations remain in compliance.
  • Keeps abreast of industry trends relating to areas of expertise and their potential impact on Paychex plans, programs, policies and procedures.
  • Communicates and makes recommendations to management to improve our employees’ experience.
  • Routinely monitors Paychex intranet to ensure that the information is accurate and relevant to employees. Makes recommendations for changes as appropriate.
  • Aids in developing employee communications campaigns to promote the Paychex retirement plan and other financial well-being programs.
  • Aids in the identification and evaluation of employee financial well-being programs, including the assisting with the implementation, and ongoing operation of the retirement and other financial well-being programs (including M&A and communication campaigns and training).
  • Identifies and implements new process improvements such as reductions in manual data entry transactions to increase efficiency and integrity of administrative functions.
  • Assists in conducting and reviewing retirement plan annual reporting and compliance requirements which are required by government agencies to offer such plans.
  • Processes and tracks purchases, invoices, and other financial transactions with vendors and employee customers for benefit & well-being dept. related initiatives, including, consulting, memberships, M & A, employee programs, events, etc.
  • Pairs with the Benefits/HR Analyst to ensure accuracy, appropriateness and compliance of invoices.
  • Creates and facilitates training to all employees on vendor partners’ tools/resources to increase employee engagement and education in order to maximize the value of Paychex’ corporate retirement & financial wellbeing benefits/programs.
  • Maintains high level of awareness of vendor partner resources/tools; routinely inspects resources and tests tools to make recommendations to increase utilization among employees and their covered dependents. Including maximizing the value of Paychex retirement & financial well-being programs awareness & education.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • 3 years of experience in HR specifically Benefits & Well-being including strength in financial well-being.

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $21.10 - $35.30 per hour. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
