Financial System Consultant

Responsibilities

• Execute SAP finance master data updates and requests
• Create and maintain cost centers, GL / chart of account mappings, and related financial data
• Support fixed asset updates and financial system adjustments
• Troubleshoot master data issues and maintain data accuracy
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders
• Support documentation, controls, and process consistency
• Assist with ad hoc SAP / financial systems projects

Requirements

• Hands-on SAP master data or financial systems experience
• Experience working with cost centers, chart of accounts, GL structures, and/or fixed assets
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes
• Ability to work independently in a contract environment
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to ramp quickly
• Strong communication and follow-through

Preferred Skills

• SAP S/4HANA experience
• SOX / controls exposure
• Prior contract or interim consulting experience
• Experience in a large corporate environment
