Financial Systems & Reporting Consultant

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $55.00 to $57.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Support financial systems administration, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement initiatives to improve reporting and planning capabilities.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and data analysis activities to support business decision making.
• Perform data validation, reconciliations, and quality reviews to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Participate in system testing, process evaluations, and implementation projects to support technology and reporting improvements.
• Develop documentation, reporting tools, and user support materials while collaborating with business and technical teams.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, information systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, business intelligence, or financial systems support.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience performing analysis, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Previous experience supporting forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting processes within a business environment.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new systems, applications, and processes quickly.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with financial planning, budgeting, reporting, or enterprise performance management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify trends, discrepancies, and process improvement opportunities.
• Previous experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, testing activities, or reporting automation initiatives.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with experience partnering effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
