Financial Services Specialist, Ag & Rural Lending

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Loan Officers, interacting directly with member-owners, preparing loan packages, gathering personal data, organizing loan documents, and ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Manage complex workflows, including data entry, underwriting, and loan servicing.
• Process loan servicing action requests, verify compliance, and maintain electronic files.
• Interpret and satisfy loan approval conditions, reconcile verifications, and submit documents for various government-sponsored loans.
• Answer phones, assist walk-in customers, process loan payments, provide receipts, and offer various services such as funds held advances, payoff documentation, and notary services.
• Monitor account maintenance activities, including posting receipts and disbursements, reviewing reports, and correcting customer account entries.
• Maintain insurance documentation, monitor loan covenants and servicing plans, and handle internal and external mail.
• Perform general office duties, such as contacting service providers, ordering supplies, scheduling meetings, and handling invoices.

Requirements

• Minimum of High School Diploma combined with equivalent professional experience.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex workflows.
• Previous experience in a commercial lending or agricultural finance environment is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
