About the role
Greenberg Traurig (GT) seeks a full-time Associate position for 3rd to 5th year candidates with expertise in complex litigation, with a focus on financial services litigation. Positions are available in Dallas.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing issues, conducting research, and drafting briefs addressing sophisticated legal issues for complex litigation.
- Defending financial institutions in litigation in federal or state court or arbitration.
- Working familiarity with federal banking regulations and standards.
- Preparation for and participation in motion argument.
- Preparation of outlines and exhibits for depositions; taking or defending depositions is a plus.
- Case management experience, including running written discovery responses, document review and production, and working directly with clients and experts.

Qualifications
- Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in working on a collaborative, cross-office team.
- Strong case management skills.
- Experience analyzing issues for, conducting research for, and drafting briefs addressing sophisticated legal issues for complex litigation.
- Experience defending financial institutions in litigation in federal or state court or arbitration.
- Working familiarity with federal banking regulations and standards.
- Preparation for and participation in motion argument.
- Preparation of outlines and exhibits for depositions; taking or defending depositions is a plus.
- Case management experience, including running written discovery responses, document review and production, and working directly with clients and experts.
- Solid academic performance and being in good standing with the TX State Bar.
- Candidates must have a solid academic performance and be in good standing with the TX State Bar.
- Law Review/Journal and/or Moot Court experience preferred, but not essential.
- Admission to the Northern, Eastern, and Southern Districts of Texas preferred but not required.
