Financial Services, Insurance & Benefits Litigation Attorney

About the role

We are recruiting attorneys and legal professionals for select opportunities involving insurance and financial services litigation, ERISA or benefits disputes, regulatory-adjacent litigation, administrative proceedings, and institutional client defense.

Responsibilities

• Filing and responding to pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, claim investigation and assessment, client/expert/TPA/opposing counsel communication, depositions, trial and arbitration prep including motions in limine, jury instructions, trial briefs, exhibits, and witness preparation.
• Financial services disputes, insurance litigation, lender claims, consumer finance litigation, regulatory-adjacent disputes, and complex civil litigation.
• Benefits litigation, ERISA claims, plan disputes, fiduciary issues, motion practice, discovery, and client counseling.
• Insurance and financial services disputes, regulatory litigation, administrative proceedings, and defense of institutional clients.

Requirements

• Litigation experience involving insurance, financial services, benefits, ERISA, or regulated industries.
• Strong writing and motion practice ability.
• Comfortable with institutional clients and regulatory issues.
• Relevant bar admission.
• Interested in sophisticated defense-side litigation.

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $158K to $300,000+, with additional ranges varying by role. Work model includes hybrid/remote flexibility with on-site options varying by role.

Pay

• California, USA: $158K-$190K for 3-8 years of experience.
• New York, NY; Chicago, IL; Atlanta, GA: $180,000 - $285,000+ for 3-7 years of experience.
• Washington, DC; Boston, MA: $185,000 - $300,000+ for 3-6 years of experience.
• Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA: $170,000 - $260,000+ for 4-8 years of experience.
