Are you a master of litigation with a passion for financial services? Do you thrive in the fast-paced, high-stakes world of securities and banking litigation? We are currently in search of a seasoned Financial Services Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to handle a wide variety of complex litigation matters within the financial services sector. As a key member of our team, you will be working closely with top-tier clients, including broker-dealers, financial advisors, and investment advisors, among others.

Responsibilities

  • Handling complex civil litigation cases, with a focus on financial services and securities litigation.
  • Representing clients in FINRA arbitrations and SEC investigations.
  • Advising broker-dealers and financial advisors on a wide range of legal matters, including restrictive covenants and non-compete agreements.
  • Managing employment litigation cases within the financial services sector.
  • Handling commercial disputes, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and representing clients at trial.
  • Providing strategic advice to clients on risk management and litigation avoidance.
  • Collaborating with other attorneys and professionals to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.

Qualifications

  • A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on financial services litigation, securities litigation, and banking litigation.
  • Experience in employment litigation within the financial services sector.
  • Proven experience dealing with FINRA, SEC, and other regulatory bodies.
  • A strong understanding of broker-dealer operations, investment advisory services, and the financial services industry as a whole.
  • Experience handling commercial disputes and restrictive covenant cases.
  • Exceptional negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • The ability to manage multiple cases and projects concurrently, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
