Responsibilities
- Interpret IRS Code and Regulations
- Write policy and procedure documents
- Conduct gap analyses and write business requirements
- Prepare documentation including presentations and flow charts
- Perform technical analysis and process improvement
- Respond to requests for proposals from clients
- Support the development of innovative technology solutions
- Train and manage staff located in remote delivery centers
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant tax consulting or tax operational experience
- A license as a licensed attorney, CPA, EA, or certified member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation
Qualifications
- A J.D., LL.M. in Taxation, and/or Master's in Taxation (MST) preferred
- Active participation in industry groups such as SIFMA, ABA, IIB
- The ability to understand and implement tax rules
- A demonstrated interest in tax information reporting and withholding work in Chapter 3, Chapter 4 and Chapter 61 or some experience working with these matters
Benefits
Base salary range: $102,100 to $187,000 (all geographic locations in the US)
Base salary range: $122,600 to $212,800 (New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento))
