Financial Services - Customer Tax Operations and Reporting - Tax Services Manager - EDGE
About the role
The opportunity is to serve as a lead of a tax operations team focusing on US and global tax information reporting and withholding matters. You will work in a group environment on challenging tax information reporting and withholding engagements across all financial services sectors.
Responsibilities
- Lead the tax operations team, managing escalations, ensuring timely and client-oriented service delivery, and driving engagement economics.
- Manage operations team, providing visibility to leadership on status, issues, or situations needing attention, and overseeing workload and quality.
- Oversee operations team, ensuring consistent and standardized processes and procedures are implemented and trained upon, and support client audits and external audits.
- Support the development of team members, introduce efficiencies via KRI/KPIs, and manage engagement risk.
- Manage and monitor team's work, progress reporting, workload, quality, and overtime distribution, and ensure adherence to budget.
- Provide leadership, advising and providing direction to other teammates, prioritizing and handling multiple assignments, and leading multiple engagements/workstreams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics.
- A minimum of 8+ years of operational delivery experience.
- CPA, EA, or licensed attorney certification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong data analysis capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize, handle, and track multiple assignments.
- Strong operations skills, tax technical skills not required.

- Leadership in financial areas of specialization.
- Strong focus on performance of multiple tax operations workstreams and coordination with delivery team leads.
- Proven skills in developing employees and coaching.

Pay
The base salary range for this role in the US is $103,100 to $188,900. For the New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento), the range is $123,800 to $214,900. Individual salaries are determined based on a variety of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
Schedule
Most people in external, client-serving roles are expected to work together in person 60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year.
